Privacy Policy

Last Updated: Sep 11, 2026

Gotube Pro ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application Gotube Pro (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 We directly collect certain data about your device and your usage of the App to improve our services, diagnose technical issues, and understand broad usage trends. This data does not personally identify you and includes your device model, operating system version, App version, preferred language settings, time zone, and crash logs.

1.2 We also collect aggregate interaction data such as which features you use most frequently (for example, mood check‑ins, meditation sessions, or video‑to‑audio conversions), session duration, and the number of times you open the App.

1.3 Additionally, the App requests permission to read local files on your device solely to enable you to select and play local music during meditation and to convert video files to audio format. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your local files on our servers, and we do not access or read any files other than those you explicitly choose for these functions.

1.4 In addition to our own collection, the App integrates third‑party software development kits (SDKs) that automatically collect further data to provide advertising, analytics, attribution, and measurement services. These third parties may collect device identifiers, your device's IP address, app interaction events, and performance diagnostics.

1.5 We do not control the data collected by these SDKs, but we have carefully selected them to ensure they comply with applicable privacy regulations.

2. How Your Information Is Used

2.1 The information we collect directly is used exclusively for internal analytical purposes that help us improve the App and better serve our users.

2.2 This includes identifying and fixing bugs, enhancing overall performance, refining the user interface, optimizing feature design, and understanding which functions—such as mood check‑ins, meditation sessions, or video‑to‑audio conversions—are most valuable to our community.

2.3 All of this data is processed in an aggregated and de‑identified form, meaning it cannot be linked back to you or any specific individual. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer this aggregated data to any third party; it remains strictly internal for our own product development and decision‑making.

2.4 Our processing of both first‑party and third‑party data is based on our legitimate interest in providing a free, functional, and continuously improved service, while always respecting your privacy choices.

3. Third‑Party SDKs

3.1 To enable ad display, app analytics, stability analysis, and other related features, this application may integrate the following third-party SDKs or services: Admob, Pangle, Vungle, Adjust, Firebase, and Kochava. Below is the current list of the third-party SDKs integrated into this Application, along with their purposes and links to their privacy policies:

3.2 We encourage you to review each SDK's policy to understand their individual data handling and any choices they may offer regarding targeted advertising.

4. Your Rights and Choices

4.1 Depending on your jurisdiction and the applicable privacy laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. These rights generally include the right to access the personal data we hold about you, the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information, the right to request erasure of your data (often referred to as the "right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict or limit the ways in which we process your data, the right to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests, and the right to data portability, which allows you to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and transmit it to another controller.

4.2 You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have previously given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred prior to your withdrawal.

4.3 To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the contact information provided below. When you submit a request, we may need to verify your identity to ensure that we are responding to the correct individual; this verification may involve asking you to provide certain details about your device or your usage of the App that we can match against our records. We will respond to your request within the timeframes required by applicable law, typically within one month of receiving your request. If your request is complex or you have made multiple requests, we may extend this period by up to two additional months, and we will inform you of any such extension within the initial month, along with the reasons for the delay.

4.4 Because we do not collect personal information directly from you—most of the data processing is performed by the third‑party SDKs integrated into the App—some of your rights, particularly those related to deletion, access, and restriction, may need to be exercised directly with the respective SDK providers.

4.5 We are here to assist you in that process: upon receiving your request, we will identify which SDKs may hold relevant data and provide you with their specific contact points and privacy request forms, or we will forward your request to them on your behalf, where feasible.

4.6 However, please note that the SDK providers are independent data controllers, and we cannot guarantee that they will fulfill your request; nevertheless, we will make every reasonable effort to facilitate communication between you and them.

5. Data Retention and Security

5.1 We retain the de‑identified aggregate data we collect directly for as long as it is useful for analytical purposes.

5.2 The third‑party SDKs retain data according to their own retention policies, generally for limited periods (e.g., up to 90 days for analytics and ad measurement, unless stated otherwise in their policies).

5.3 We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect all information processed through the App, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5.4 Please be aware that the data collected through the App, including both the de‑identified aggregate data we collect directly and the data processed by third‑party SDKs, may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, where our service providers are based. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

5.5 When we transfer your information internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of data protection. By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to such transfers, subject to applicable legal requirements.

6. Children's Privacy

6.1 Gotube Pro is not directed to children under the age of 12, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

6.2 If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us immediately so that we can take steps to delete such data from our systems and work with the relevant SDKs to do the same. All third‑party SDKs we use have their own age‑gating mechanisms and adhere to the related regulations.

7. Contact Us and Changes to This Policy

7.1 If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, you may contact us by email at ri.sma4@outlook.com.

7.2 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. Any revised version will be posted within the App and the effective date will be updated at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
